Junior Sous Chef

 

 

 

 

Sopwell House is set in 12 acres of fantastic Hertfordshire Country Side. We currently boast 129 Bedrooms, two Restaurants, large Conference and Events facilities and a vibrant Country Club and Luxurious Spa.

 

We are currently looking for a Junior Sous Chef to head up our Fine Dining Restaurant and oversee the other dining facilities, within our property, as demands require. As part of the Senior Kitchen brigade you will organise and deliver all aspects pf preparation, procedures, health and safety and hygiene in the kitchen and be resposnsible for ensuring the highest standards of food is produced and delivered throughout the hotel. Your responsibilities will include menu development and budget control, in both food cost control and payroll. 

 

We require a chef who has the ability to lead and train an eager team. You will be able to work under pressure and will have owrked in other similar establishments, ideally you will be a strong sauce chef. Fine dining and banqueting experience is essential.
